Republicans on the House Judiciary Committee have issued a subpoena for Assistant U.S. Attorney Lesley Wolf, who is investigating Hunter Biden.

The subpoena is based on allegations that Wolf shielded President Biden from certain questions and search warrants related to the investigation.

The investigation has faced scrutiny following allegations from an FBI whistleblower, Gary Shapley Jr., who claimed that decisions were made to benefit the president’s son and that Wolf limited questioning related to President Biden.

Shapley also accused Wolf of tipping off Hunter Biden’s legal team ahead of a planned search of his storage unit.

Wolf has been ordered to appear before the committee on December 7 to address these allegations.
