Actress Rebel Wilson, known for her 80-pound weight loss, revealed that she has gained 30 pounds due to work-related stress.
She expressed feeling bad about it and losing focus on her healthy lifestyle.
Wilson received an outpouring of support from her followers on Instagram.
“I’m really proud of the work I’ve been doing on new movies and my memoir, it’s just been a LOT and I’ve lost focus on my healthy lifestyle,” said Wilson.
“Anyone else going through the same thing?” she asked.
“Losing weight is the easy bit … keeping it off is the biggest battle,” commented one user.
“It’s hard! Everyone is proud of you, but we already loved you, didn’t we? No matter what size, you’re still beautiful & hilarious. Not everyone was meant to be a size 2. Certainly don’t feel BAD about it,” wrote another fan.
She previously faced pushback from her team in Hollywood when she embarked on her weight loss journey, as she had established herself playing overweight characters.
“I got a lot of pushback from my own team actually, here in Hollywood, when I said ‘Okay, I’m going to do this year of health, I feel like I’m really gonna physically transform and change my life,’” said Wilson in a previous interview.
“And they were like, ‘Why? Why would you wanna do that?’ Because I was earning millions of dollars being the funny fat girl and being that person,” she added.
Wilson’s decision was motivated by a desire for physical transformation and healthier habits, including addressing emotional eating and fertility concerns.
