Stephen Colbert was puzzled by Donald Trump’s verbal attack on New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu, who endorsed Nikki Haley for the GOP presidential nomination.
Trump’s insult of Sununu left Colbert questioning Trump’s mental state, as he fired back at Trump’s recent gaffes and stumbles.
“This guy, he’s gotta be on something, I’ve never seen anybody with energy,” Trump regarding Sununu. “He’s like, uh, hopscotch.”
“He really is losing it,” Colbert said of Trump.
“That sentence makes absolutely no hopscotch,” he joked.
