Former President Donald Trump expressed support for UK Monarch King Charles III after it was announced that he had begun cancer treatment.
Trump, who had met the King several times during his presidency, described him as a “wonderful man” and offered prayers for his recovery.
Trump previously wrote, “We all pray that he has a fast and full recovery.”
President Joe Biden also expressed concern and stated his intention to speak with the King.
Biden said, “I’m concerned about him. Just heard about his diagnosis. I’ll be talking to him, God willing.”
Trump, known for his affinity towards the UK, had faced challenges in advancing post-Brexit bilateral agreements due to political complexities.
During his presidency, he had met with the then Prince of Wales, now King Charles, during a visit in June 2019.
